Our Wedding

Dawson and Meagan’s story began with a simple Friendsgiving invitation. Dawson invited Meagan to stop by his house for a casual gathering with friends, and Meagan decided to go, a choice that would change everything. From the moment they spent time together that evening, their connection was undeniable and effortless. 	Their first official date was tacos and bowling, where Meagan confidently claimed victory, conveniently leaving out that she once bowled in a league during her youth. That fun, competitive energy set the tone for their relationship. With an instant connection, Dawson and Meagan quickly found themselves going on more dates, including bowling rematches, ice skating adventures, and cozy nights spent cooking and laughing together in the kitchen. 	In May 2025, Dawson proposed to Meagan in beautiful Key West, Florida. Surrounded by sunshine, love, and the excitement of everything they have built together, they said yes to forever. Dawson and Meagan are beyond excited to begin this next chapter of their lives side by side.

Our Story

Sarah has been one of Meagan’s people since the very beginning. They first met in early elementary school and connected instantly. Often calling each other “twinny,” Sarah and Meagan were practically inseparable, even convincing a few people in high school that they were actually sisters. They’ve done quite literally everything together—from creating an elaborate workout plan that was followed exactly once, to making embarrassing videos in their childhood homes, to sitting a few feet apart scrolling on TikTok and sending each other the funny ones. Beyond all the shared interests and memories, Sarah is the kind of friend who will do anything to make you smile and has a way of making even the simplest moments fun just by being there. Meagan is beyond thankful to have Sarah by her side as her maid of honor.

Connor and Dawson go way back as far as they can remember, from childhood nights spent playing video games and watching funny shows to adulthood, where they’ve often lived and worked together. They share a love for rock music that has led to countless concerts and unforgettable memories along the way. Connor is always the funniest person in the room and has a unique ability to make Dawson laugh, often with jokes only the two of them understand. In 2018, they joined the Minnesota Army National Guard on the same day, adding even more shared experiences to their lifelong friendship. Connor has always been there for Dawson, and Dawson is truly honored to have him standing by his side as his best man.

Amanda and Meagan first met through their bowling league when Meagan was around the age of 6. Little did they know it would grow into much more than just Saturday mornings. Amanda and Meagan began to spend of a majority of their time together. Spending countless summer nights together around the fire, cheering under the Friday night lights or making up some crazy stories about how they predicted their futures would go. Amanda is the type of friend that will always let you know that she is there for anything and everything you could need. Growing up together has been a leading influence in Meagan's life and helping shape who she is today. Meagan has always looked up to Amanda as a role model in life and Meagan is beyond honored to have Amanda standing by her side as her Maid of Honor.

Tanner and Dawson first met in middle school while playing on the same baseball team and later reconnected in high school, where they discovered they had a lot in common. Evenings were often spent at the gym, driving around listening to music, and talking about life. Dawson especially enjoys when Tanner shares his knowledge, particularly anything related to airplanes, which is his specialty. Some of Dawson’s favorite memories with Tanner include visiting him in Mankato, watching planes at the airport, and their trip out to Wyoming with DJ. Over the years, Tanner has been there for both Dawson and Meagan, always making time when he’s in town and keeping things easygoing. Dawson is glad to have him standing by his side on this special day

Tanner Luetjens

Emily has been Meagan’s close friend since the very first day of kindergarten—and a bonus family member ever since. Even though life has taken them in different directions (with Emily now in North Dakota for school), every time they’re together it feels like no time has passed at all. From mixing up whatever ingredients they could find and accidentally setting off smoke detectors like it was their job, to creating some pretty great music videos on YouTube that still posted today, their memories are as unforgettable as they are hilarious. Emily is the kind of friend who’s always there with a steady shoulder to lean on, genuinely great advice, or a perfectly timed laugh when it’s needed most. Meagan is incredibly thankful to have Emily standing by her side as a bridesmaid on such an important day.

Dawson and DJ first met in high school and quickly realized they shared a similar way of seeing the world, spending countless nights talking about life plans, ideas, and the future. Their friendship was built through long drives, trips to DJ’s cabin, workouts at the gym, runs together, and tackling projects on their vehicles—often working late into the night. They joined the Minnesota Army National Guard on the same day, sharing that experience. Through it all, DJ has been there for Dawson through thick and thin and has always been eager to share his knowledge, patiently teaching Dawson about his specialties especially hunting and fishing. Dawson is truly glad to have DJ standing by his side on his wedding day.

Kaitlyn and Meagan’s story began back in middle school art class, where a shared exchange of “are you seeing this?” looks over the weird kid at their table (yes, the one sniffing glue) sparked the start of a friendship that only grew stronger with time. Through their high school years, that bond deepened—whether they were camping in the backyard of Kaitlyn’s childhood home, jamming out to their latest music rotation, or trading song recommendations that became the soundtrack to their lives. Kaitlyn is the kind of friend who will always pick up the phone, no matter the time, and listen with genuine care. She is endlessly kind, thoughtful, and wise, always ready with a comforting ear or a bit of advice when it’s needed most. Meagan is incredibly grateful to have Kaitlyn by her side—not only as a close friend, but as a bridesmaid and a constant presence in her life.

Dawson and Kyle first met as kids while playing baseball together on the team known as the “Lug Nuts,” shared a few classes in middle school, and later reconnected in high school. Their friendship was filled with hijinks—whether in the STEP parking lot or hanging out in Kyle’s backyard—and plenty of laughs along the way. Kyle also introduced Dawson to ice fishing, patiently showing him the ropes during his first time out on the ice. With his easygoing nature and ability to always have a good time, Kyle has been a great friend to Dawson, and Dawson is happy to have him as part of his wedding day.

Paige, Meagan’s older sister, has been a role model in her life for as long as she can remember—even though they’ve never lived under the same roof. Meagan took every opportunity she could to talk about her sister, especially the fact that Paige once worked at Aeropostale, which at the time was truly the coolest thing since sliced bread. From fashion and makeup to her overall way of life, Meagan was always taking notes, hoping to grow up just a little more like her. While distance has meant they don’t get to see each other as often, Paige and Meagan have always been there for one another through all of life’s moments, milestones, and celebrations—quietly serving as each other’s biggest cheerleaders. Anyone would be lucky to have a Paige in their life. She is fearless, incredibly creative, and has an unmatched zest for life’s adventures. Meagan is beyond thankful to have Paige not only as a role model, but standing by her side as a bridesmaid.

Dawson and Kyle first met in high school when Kyle hitchhiked home from school with Dawson, and they instantly connected over a shared love for wrenching on anything with an engine. Whether it was in shop class, the junkyard, or one of their driveways, there was always something to work on or talk about under the hood. They also spent time hanging out and going to the gym, with Kyle often giving Dawson his three-day passes to LA Fitness. Kyle has always been a great friend to Dawson, and Dawson is glad to have him there on his wedding day.

Molly and Meagan met shortly after her and Jason started dating. They came over as Meagan was painting a beer pong table for her other brother Jakes 21st birthday after which the first thing they bonded over was their love of margaritas. From there, Meagan continued to watch her brother Jason and Molly's relationship grow.  Meagan has always looked up to them and their love for each other, so she couldn't wait to introduce Dawson to one of the couples that inspired her most. It was no question that Meagan wanted Molly next to her as a bridesmaid and she could not be more thankful.

Kory and Dawson have been friends since high school, spending countless hours hanging out, driving around, hitting the gym, and just enjoying whatever the day brought. Over the years, Kory has proven to be easygoing, dependable, and always in good spirits, the kind of friend who makes even ordinary days more fun. Dawson’s glad to have him there as a groomsman and to be part of this special day.

Alaina, the groom’s younger sister, is someone Meagan was told from the very beginning she was quite similar to—and it only took a few conversations to realize just how true that was. From their shared love of baking and trying new recipes to their easy, natural connection, their bond quickly grew into something special. Over time, they’ve found themselves leaning on each other through the little moments of overthinking, advice-seeking, and the occasional venting session. Meagan is so thankful to have Alaina as her sister-in-law and is incredibly grateful to have her standing by her side as a bridesmaid.

Dawson and Jack have been friends since high school, and it’s always been an easy, steady friendship. Jack never runs out of things to talk about, usually has a funny story ready, and can always be counted on for solid advice when it matters. They’ve spent plenty of time four wheeling, wrenching on projects, and just hanging out. Whether it’s getting muddy or working on something that takes longer than expected, they’ve always made the most of it. It’s always a good time when Jack comes around, he has a way of making the best of any situation. Having Jack as a groomsman just makes sense. He’s been a dependable friend for years and a big part of a lot of great memories.

Norah has been part of Meagan’s chosen family since the day she was born, and anyone who meets her is instantly greeted by a beaming smile and an infectious zest for life. Meagan has spent countless nights watching Norah and her older brother Austin and it was never a hard decision—because it meant extra time with some of her very favorite kiddos. Beyond her bright spirit, Norah is incredibly intelligent, deeply compassionate, and has a wonderful sense of humor that lights up every room she’s in. Meagan is so thankful to have Norah by her side as a junior bridesmaid and couldn’t imagine this day without her.

Ethan isn’t just Dawson’s brother-in-law he’s someone Dawson has a lot of respect for. He’s always appreciated how well Ethan treats his sister, Alaina, and the way he makes her happy. Since they work together every day, they spend plenty of time around each other. There’s always something to laugh about, and they’ve learned a lot from each other along the way. It’s an easy, steady friendship built on mutual respect. Dawson is glad to have Ethan there on his wedding day. It means a lot to have him standing by his side.

Laken the brides niece may be little, but she already has the biggest presence. Even though she hasn’t been around for very long, it doesn’t take much time at all for her to leave a lasting mark on everyone she meets. With her bubbly personality and constant smile, Laken is truly a ray of sunshine wherever she goes. She brings so much joy, laughter, and light into every room, and Meagan and Dawson absolutely adore her. Watching her grow has already been such a gift, and they can’t wait to continue cheering her on through every new milestone and moment. She is without a doubt one of their very favorite people. There was never a question that Laken would have a special role on their wedding day. They couldn’t imagine celebrating such an important moment without her bright spirit leading the way down the aisle. Having her as their flower girl makes the day even sweeter and even more meaningful.

Jason is the bride’s older brother. He has always held a special place in Meagan’s life. Even though they haven’t always been close in distance, he has consistently been one of her greatest support systems. No matter the season of life, Jason has been there — encouraging her to believe in herself, take chances, and trust her own path. Growing up, Meagan always saw Jason as the “cool” older brother — the one with the best stories, the best advice, and an unmatched taste in music. In fact, his influence even made its way into today’s celebration, inspiring parts of the wedding playlist and adding a personal touch that feels uniquely them. Meagan is beyond thankful to have Jason not only as her brother, but as a role model and steady source of encouragement throughout her life. Meagan and Dawson are beyond thankful to have Jason standing beside them on their special day.

Jake, Meagan’s older brother, has been a constant in her life in the way only a sibling can be. Like any brother and sister, their early years came with their fair share of differences, but those moments only built the foundation for something much stronger. Today, Meagan considers Jake not just her brother, but one of her greatest built-in best friends. Whether it’s giving relationship advice, keeping each other updated on their latest shenanigans, or simply exchanging a knowing look across the dinner table, Jake has always been someone she can count on—no matter the moment. The two of them share a bond that goes beyond words; they’ve always had an uncanny ability to read each other just through a glance or a facial expression. So when it came time for Meagan and Dawson to choose someone to officiate their wedding, it felt only natural that Jake would be the one to do the honors—and they couldn’t be more grateful to have him standing with them in such a meaningful role.

Austin has been a part of Meagan’s chosen family since the very day he was born and he has been inspiring her ever since. From the start, he’s brought a special kind of light into her life. Austin has a way of lighting up any room he walks into. His personality is magnetic, his humor is beyond hilarious, and his intelligence constantly amazes everyone around him. There isn’t much about cars or trucks that he doesn’t already know. He has long been one of Meagan’s favorite people, and that love has only grown as he’s become such an important part of both her and Dawson’s lives. Considering the fact that caring for Austin and his sister Norah for a night was actually one of Meagan and Dawson’s first dates, they truly couldn’t imagine their special day without him considering he has been a part of their story. Having Austin as their ring bearer makes this celebration even more meaningful, and they are so incredibly thankful to have him not only as part of their wedding day, but as part of their lives.

Ellise and Meagan's friendship began in the most unexpected place- while working together at Bath & Body Works. As they chatted during their shifts, they quickly realized just how much they had in common. From both cheering in high school to sharing similar life upbringings, it became clear almost instantly that their bond was meant to last. Even after their time at Bath & Body Works came to an end, their friendship never faded. Ellise and Meagan have continued to stay in touch through every milestone and memory, celebrating life’s highs and navigating its challenges side by side. Ellise is beyond creative, incredibly compassionate, and one of the most thoughtful people you could ever meet. She pours her heart into everything she does, always finding meaningful ways to make moments feel extra special. Having Ellise serve as personal attendant isn’t just about helping things run smoothly, it's about a close friend adding her special touch of love and care to one of the most important days and Meagan is beyond thankful to have Ellise supporting her on her and Dawsons special day.

Mallory came into Meagan’s life through a connection that was clearly meant to be. With their fiancés being best friends since early childhood, it was only a matter of time before they would become friends themselves. When Meagan was first introduced to the infamous friend group known as “the studs,” she could have easily felt like the outsider stepping into years of shared memories and inside jokes. But from the very beginning, Mallory made sure that wasn’t the case. She sparked up conversations, included her effortlessly, and made her feel genuinely welcomed. That warmth and intentional kindness laid the foundation for a friendship that quickly became so much more than circumstance. Mallory is one of the most thoughtful, funny, and adventurous people Meagan has ever met. She brings energy and joy wherever she goes, and her ability to make others feel seen and valued is truly special. Meagan is so incredibly thankful not only for the friendship they’ve built, but to have Mallory standing by her side on such an important day. Having her as part of their wedding makes it all the more meaningful for both her and Dawson.
